Our Journey To The North 2014
It's the time again where our mind is meant to take some rest and enjoy life.
Glad to jot down a part of our vacation but this time rating of food and places are also jotted down.
So let's stop all the babbling and lets get started with 'Our Journey To The North 2014'
route from checkpoint A to B to C to D :) |
From our home, you could see the happy faces of by babies waiting for a great getaway:
We went straight to Ipoh and had lunch at the famous nasi kandar, Nasi Vanggey.
Food rating: 6/10
You could see the tired faces especially the driver. What's with the face my love cause a great journey is waiting for us
First night: Rumah Persekutuan Pulau Pinang
Great room, great ambience, toilet fulfils my standard compared to the rate per night which is really cheap. But there's people hair scattered on the carpet. That part is the most that I can't tolerate. eiuw....
Had our tea break at Gani Pasembur located at Padang Kota Lama. The finest pasembur I've tasted so far.
Food rating: 8.5/10
That night we waited patiently for Kedai Kandar Nasi Beratur to open as this shop opens at 10pm.
Food rating: 8.5/10
Lonnnnnnng queue. But worth the wait |
The next day, we visited Toy Museum located at Teluk Bahang which is privately managed. First impression, I thought it was a waste of money but after spending some time inside there, I was captivated with the display of toys. Good all memories flashed through my mind. Saw Along E's toy which Baba had 'accidently' thrown inside the garbage, saw Yani's My Little Pony and blablabla... To me, if it's the school holiday season, if the place is packed with people the place isn't that comfortable.
My baby Nuha :) |
Nuha looking confused. hihi |
Along E's toys :( |
Inside the ferry towards the mainland.
Lunch on the main land, Warung Ikan Bawal Goreng Juru/Warung Kelapa Sawit. Nasi with crispy ikan bawal goreng, paired with fresh air kelapa. Pergh...

Wah....love is in the air
It's ferry time kids!! Muaz jumping up with joy.
We had made early booking from Roro Ferry. Services provided besides bringing us to Langkawi is that they also provide shipment of our car. So no more the hassle of tugging along big luggages containing our shopping stuffs. Total we had paid was RM400. Do visit their website at http://www.langkawiroro.com/ and make early booking to avoid any disappointment.
Checked in our hotel and immediately went to have our tea break at Laksa Power and cendol which is located near the airport.
Food rating: 8.5/10
Dinner at Restoran Nelayan
Food rating: 5/10
Breakfast at The Loaf. Info obtained from Mr Google, breads are freshly baked in the morning so decided to be one of the lucky customers to get some bites from the bakery. Love the food and the environment. This is what I call a great family break.
