We're back..

En Mazlan has just finished his studies. Alhamdulillah. Praise to Allah for all the good things through these 2 years. With our new family member where we have been waiting for so long, the good health we are in, the kids growing up and doing good, I feel so blessed.

During En Mazlan's studies, the rest of the family felt the pressure because all vacation were stopped temporarily 😂

His last last journey. Off to JB to submit his thesis. 

So on a hunger mode of a holiday break, we decided to surprise the kids with a mini breakaway in Pahang. On 11th January 2019 (yesterday, the quickest post so far😂), we spent a night at Mangala Resort & Spa. A mini luxury resort that I did not imagine I would one day be checking in.
Light refreshment with wet n cold face towel. Usually we were served with hot ones. I prefer cold ones better😁 The juice, buah kedondong (ambarella🤔) were picked from the resort's trees



We booked Amani Villa, a room with a private pool. The kids went in and out of the pool as much as they wanted to. While me n nayla, watched tv but still could eye on them. 









We also lended 4wheel bicycles. We took a stroll while i pushed nayla in her stroller. The kids had so much fun since they could ride as long as they wanted to without their mom shouting worriedly because there were no cars only buggies moving around. There was a designated parking bay so only buggies and bicycles on the road and track. There's also a gym, we could pick fruits from the trees, too bad we missed the mango season, kayak, and the list goes on and on. A 1 night stay is not enough to explore the resort

I had called the receptionist and asked for extra blankets and what I got besides that? Two boxes of chocolates 🥰🥰 auww...my heart melts.. 

So far this is the best resort I've been to. Such a tremendous experience.

"If adventure does not wait on the doorstep, climb through the window"  by someone I don't know For Cross Country 2013, we had planned about 2 months in advance.Our journey started on 3.2.2013 and ended on 9.2.2013. Kuala Kubu Bharu Waterfall

7.11.2021 An impromptu trip. Only decided where to go inside the car. Looked up on google map and decided to go to Kuala Kubu Bharu Waterfall because it wrote 'not busy as usual' (if I'm not mistaken). Trusting it, we headed to KKB which took us about an hour ++.  Decided to 'tapau' our food from this restaurant. Surprisingly the food taste delicious.  At last we reached the waterfall. 1st parking i assume is free. It was 1/2 occupied. We decided to head further down the road. We were stop by the local orang asli and was charged RM1/ person. Our 1st stop was kind of a big crowd.    Lost my slipper and had noticed it after eating. Mr Big went to the rescue and mission accomplished. Our 2nd stop was a bit further up. We had to go down a flight of stairs and after going down only to realized that there is admission fee of RM1/person. We were kind of shocked to be charged again. 🚘 Perlis 🚢 Langkawi

It's been soooo long since our last holiday. The night before our long journey. As ususal, mumi is the only one struggling to pack things and clean the house while the other play games n try to add mumi's chores.. On NSE. A hazy day      Our first night, dinner was at Mona Ikan Bakar. It's tàstiness has been haunting us since our last visit. We had our usual dishes:  Oh this is only half of the dishes that we had ordered 😜 The last time we came here, Nuha was still a baby and Muaz was still small. How times fly so quickly.  The next day, we went to Padang Besar. Bought  towel, blankets,  bag, toys is a must and  t-shirt. We had lunch at  Chempaka located opposite of the complex/centre of attraction of Padang Besar. Great food and the tea ice is super duper superb.
